As an integrative therapist, I strive to see you as a whole person, and am interested in how the various parts of your medical and personal history have influenced your mental health. I have over 10 years of experience working in medical facilities, such as psychiatric inpatient hospitals, and primary care settings in academic environments, which have influenced my practice to view the mind and body as connected.

Holistic care with me includes:

  • Integrating mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual health to promote balance and overall well-being. You are seen as a whole person, with acknowledgment of all the various parts that make you who you are

  • Tailoring treatment to your specific needs, with your preferences and requests in mind

  • Utilizing evidenced based treatment such as mindfulness-based techniques or Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR)

  • Cultivating positive social interactions with people and pets, or connecting with nature

  • Consulting with specialists such as a dietitian for nutritional counseling, a psychiatric prescriber for medication management, or an acupuncturist for herbal remedies

My intention in my work is to facilitate a nurturing, healing space to help empower you to connect with your deepest wisdom to live the life you envision. All tools are considered to optimize wellness in a compassionate, individualized, culturally affirming way.
