Geeti Shirazi Mahajan (she/her) is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-S) based in Austin, TX. She specializes in working with Highly Sensitive People (HSP) from diverse backgrounds. Having worked in medical facilities since 2012, Geeti is trained as a holistic therapist and uses mindfulness-based techniques to honor the mind, body, spirit connection.
Individual therapy is currently offered in person/online for adults 18+ who are residents of Texas. Based in Austin, Texas.

What is a Holistic Approach to Mental Health?
Holistic care integrates mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual health to promote balance and overall well-being. You are seen as a whole person, with acknowledgment of all the various parts that make you who you are.
Treatment is individualized to your specific needs, with your preferences and requests in mind.
Examples of a holistic approach may include using mindfulness-based techniques, cultivating positive social interactions with people and pets, or connecting with nature.
At times recommendations are made for consultation with specialists such as a dietitian for nutritional counseling, a psychiatric prescriber for medication management, or an acupuncturist for herbal remedies.
All tools are considered to optimize wellness in a compassionate, individualized, culturally affirming way.
